AGV charging time can be divided into random charging and full cycle charging.

According to the charging area it can be divided into online charging and offline charging.

Random charging and full cycle charging

If there are more charging points in the AGV process to ensure the timely loss of electrical energy, the shallow charge and shallow discharge of the battery will extend the service life of the battery and reduce the required battery capacity greatly.

Full-cycle charging requires the AGV to withdraw from the service and enter the designated charging area. The battery can be charged when the battery power decreases to the designated range.

Online charging and offline charging

  The AGV does not need to leave the work position when charging online, nor does it require special time to charge. It takes advantage of the short stop time in the work process to charge.

Online charging makes full use of the time of debris and does not occupy working time.In fact, it is an extension of random charges. Add charging stations to AGV workflow to improve AGV efficiency further.

During offline charging, the AGV exits the service and is charged to the charging area and special charging station.
